Peshawar Zalmi started their activities in Peshawar before PSL 9

Peshawar Zalmi, the franchise of Pakistan Super League, has kicked off their activities in Peshawar ahead of PSL 9. Under the supervision of Peshawar Zalmi, Zalmi Talent Hunt was organized at Hayatabad Sports Complex in Peshawar. Prior to the trials, more than ten thousand young cricketers registered.

Over four thousand young cricketers participated in the open trials. The selection panel, including Peshawar Zalmi’s President Inzamam-ul-Haq, Director of Cricket Mohammad Akram, and Zalmi star Kamran Akmal, conducted the trials. Peshawar’s young superstar, Mohammad Haris, was also present on this occasion. In an interview with the media, Inzamam-ul-Haq said that in the past ten years, immense cricketing talent has emerged from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Peshawar, and these young cricketers have proven themselves in international cricket as well.

The best young cricketers were seen on the first day of Zalmi Talent Hunt. After the talent hunt, the deserving young cricketers will be provided coaching facilities. Peshawar Zalmi’s captain Babar Azam could not attend the trials due to prior commitments but will soon visit Peshawar. The trials for Peshawar Zalmi Talent Hunt will continue at Hayatabad Sports Complex on the second day as well.
