Saudi Arabia defeated Pakistan 4-0 in the FIFA World Cup Qualifier

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia secured a 4-0 victory against Pakistan in the FIFA World Cup Qualifier.

According to official sources, in the Group H match of the FIFA World Cup Qualifier Round 2 held at the Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium in Al Hasa, Saudi Arabia defeated Pakistan 4-0. Saleh Al-Shahri scored the only goal in the first half, giving Saudi Arabia a 1-0 lead in the sixth minute.

During the first half, Pakistan displayed good gameplay but failed to score, and in the second half, they couldn’t show effective performance. In the 48th minute, Saudi Arabia was awarded a penalty, resulting in another goal for Saudi Arabia.

Later, Saudi Arabia scored a third goal in extra time. Abdulrahman Ghareeb scored in the 91st minute, followed by another goal from Abdullah Radif in the 96th minute, securing a 4-0 victory for Saudi Arabia.

It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia is currently ranked 57th in the world rankings. In Group G of Round 2, besides Saudi Arabia, Pakistan is joined by Jordan and Tajikistan. This marks Pakistan’s first-ever qualification to the FIFA World Cup Qualifier Round 2 in history. National team’s foreign coach Stephen Constantine expressed confidence in the players’ performance for future matches.
