In the second match of the five-match T20 series, West Indies Women defeated Pakistan Women by 7 wickets. Nida Dar, the captain of the national team, won the toss and decided to bat in the match played in Karachi.

Pakistan’s Sidra Ameen scored 10 and Gul Feroze made 14 runs before getting out. While on one hand, Muneeba Ali got out for a duck, wickets kept falling on the other side. Muneeba played a brilliant innings of 55 runs on 47 balls, but despite her efforts, Pakistan’s score remained 121 for the loss of 7 wickets.

The guest team’s Hayley Matthews took three wickets.

In pursuit of the target, West Indies lost their first wicket at 21 runs, then captain Hayley Matthews played a brilliant innings, scoring 58 runs off 43 balls, while Shemaine Campbelle scored 21 runs before getting out. The incoming batters completed the target in just three overs after losing three wickets.

With the victory by seven wickets, West Indies secured a lead of two-zero in the five-match series.

West Indies captain Hayley Matthews was declared the Player of the Match for her excellent performance, scoring 58 runs and taking 3 wickets.
