Former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, Shahid Afridi, has appealed to decision makers to unite for the betterment of the country.
In a tweet posted on the social engagement website X, he expressed his views on the 2024 general elections. He wrote, The common man is tired of a new story every day, the issue is inflation and unemployment.
Shahid Afridi emphasized, I urge decision makers to come together and lead the country out of this state of excitement. We have already seen enough spectacle; now the nation cannot bear any more shocks.
The former captain further wrote, For God’s sake! Unite for the future generations and for the sake of your country.
It is noteworthy that on February 8, 2024, during the general elections, Shahid Afridi also shared a picture on X of himself casting his vote. He cast his vote at NA-236 Karachi.
