Sindh Minister of Labor and Manpower lights torch to commence 34th annual National Games in Karachi, emphasizes need for positive activities for youth”

Sindh Minister of Labor and Manpower, Saeed Ghani, attended the 34th annual National Games torch ceremony at Iqra University in Karachi as a special guest. Alongside a host of dignitaries including Vice Chancellor of Iqra University Dr. Waseem Qazi, Deputy Secretary General of Olympic Association Muhammad Jahangir, former captain of Pakistan Hockey Team Nasir Ali, Dr. Farhan Isa, Director of Higher Education Javed Ali Memon, and Vice Chancellors of various universities and other personnels of other fields were there. Saeed Ghani lit the torch to mark the start of the games in Karachi.

In his speech, Saeed Ghani expressed his gratitude to the organizers and highlighted the importance of providing positive activities for the youth in Pakistan. He emphasized that the Sindh government of People’s Party has taken steps for positive and healthy activities for the youth, and that a healthy body is a sign of a healthy society.

Saeed Ghani also acknowledged the need to provide sports activities on a larger scale in Pakistan and shared that he has started sports activities in various institutions in localities. He mentioned that the Minister of Education’s decision to restart assemblies in schools and colleges has brought discipline among teachers and students, and that sports events at school and college level have been initiated.

Lastly, Saeed Ghani expressed his hope that the National Games will be held in the entire province in the future and that Quetta, an important city in Sindh, will be a welcome place where the National Games will be held this year. Overall, the event served as a reminder of the importance of promoting positive activities and healthy competition for the youth in Pakistan.
