West Indies Women emerged victorious against Pakistan Women in the second One Day International, securing the series with a three-match win. The final match of the series will be played on April 23.

Electing to bat after winning the toss at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, Pakistan Women’s team captain Nida Dar made the decision. The national women’s team managed to score 223 runs in 48.5 overs.

For Pakistan, Bismah Maroof scored 65, Sidra Ameen scored 50, and Najiha Alvi contributed 25 runs.

In response, West Indies Women’s Stephanie Taylor scored 73 runs, Shimaine Campbell scored 52, and Hayley Matthews scored 44 runs to shine.

From Pakistan’s side, Nida Dar took 4 wickets, while M Hani, Sadia Iqbal, and Fatima Sana each took one wicket.

In an exciting match, West Indies needed three runs on the last ball when Fatima Sana’s final ball slipped out of the keeper’s hands, crossing the boundary line, thus West Indies Women defeated Pakistan Women by 2 wickets in the second One Day International after an interesting match, securing the series win.

Captain Nida Dar also achieved the milestone of 100 wickets in 108 matches.

West Indies Women’s team had previously defeated Pakistan by 113 runs in the first One Day International.
