In a highly anticipated match of the ICC Cricket World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. The match took place at the Ahmedabad Cricket Stadium, where India won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled against India’s bowlers, and the entire Pakistani team was bowled out for 191 runs in 42.5 overs.

In response, India successfully chased down the target of 192 runs in just 30.3 overs, losing three wickets in the process.

Pakistan suffered an early setback when Abdullah Shafique was dismissed for 20 runs, falling to the bowling of Mohammad Siraj. Imam-ul-Haq was out by Hardik Pandya for 36 runs Babar Azam, Pakistan’s captain, was bowled out for 50 runs by Siraj.

After Babar’s dismissal, Pakistan’s wickets fell rapidly, and the remaining batsmen could only add 36 runs to the total score.

Saud Shakeel managed to score 6 runs before being dismissed, while iftaqar was bowled out for 4 runs. Hasan Ali was caught behind for 12 runs, and Haris Sohail also departed after scoring 2 runs.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets each.

India reached the target of 192 runs, losing 3 wickets in 30.3 overs. Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, played a crucial role, scoring 86 runs off 63 balls with 6 fours and 6 sixes. Shreyas Iyer scored 53 runs, while KL Rahul remained not out with 19 runs.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi took 2 wickets, and Hasan Ali claimed 1 wicket.

Jasprit Bumrah was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, taking 2 wickets and conceding only 19 runs in 7 overs.
